Position Overview
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Aircraft Cabin Technician is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, cleaning, and repair of aircraft interior components in accordance with approved maintenance documentation.
You will work hands-on across cabin systems, ensuring every task is completed safely, correctly, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain seats, panels, and all aircraft interior components including cleaning, inspection, and repair in accordance with applicable AMMs
- Carry out all work in compliance with company, health and safety, and airport procedures
- Maintain a Foreign Object Debris (FOD)-free work area and clean the bay before and after tasks
- Ensure all materials, parts, tools, equipment, and documentation are prepared at the start of each shift
- Return all unused serviceable and unserviceable items to stores with correct labeling
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition
- Ensure all items issued from stores are properly labeled prior to installation
- Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with customers and team members
- Stay current with Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and relevant updates
- Participate in training programs to improve effectiveness and skill level
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with approved procedures and safety standards
- Follow the Safety & Quality Management Plan (SQMP) and actively support workplace safety initiatives
Skills and Experience
- Completion of a formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent training
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working specifically as a Cabin Technician
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturer drawings, SRMs, and AMMs
- Must meet all required security clearance criteria
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing operational demands
