Join a dynamic team specializing in aircraft component maintenance and repair. As an Aircraft Component Mechanic, you will perform critical maintenance on aircraft components, ensuring their optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance on aircraft components.
- Develop and maintain records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and any related reports.
- Inspect and examine various types of aircraft components to identify cracks, corrosion, or other defects.
- Consult maintenance manuals and specifications to identify correct operations and specifications for replacements or repairs.
- Install new parts to replace or repair defective or recalled parts or to enhance performance.
- Repair sheet metal as needed.
- Identify and resolve mechanical problems based on visual inspections or reports from customers.
- Maintain documentation related to inspections, repairs, and reassembly of aircraft components.
- Follow all Federal, company, and OSHA regulations while performing maintenance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 1 year of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Airframe experience required.
- Experience in MRO or 145 repair shop required.
- Thorough understanding of aircraft parts, systems, and mechanics.
- Proficient understanding of tools and testing methods to ensure proper functioning of aircraft components.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and adhere to manual instructions for resolving complex mechanical issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software for record maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- A&P certification is preferred.
- Experience with thrust reversers, electromechanical parts, pneumatics, actuators, and accessories.
- Experience with landing gear, full disassembly, hydraulics, and actuators.

Work Environment
The work environment is air-conditioned, providing a comfortable setting for maintenance and repair tasks. The role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 7/8 am to 4/5 pm. While the dress code is not specified, adherence to safety regulations and protocols is mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
