Overview of the Position:
 
We are an FAA repair facility that services aircraft components. We specialize in pneumatic valves, electromechanical actuators, and electrical components. No A&P license required. Aerospace/aviation experience is not required. Job applicants must be mechanically inclined and have related mechanical experience or technical schooling. FAA/DOT drug testing IS REQUIRED (both pre-employment and random). Normal workdays are 6:30 AM to 3 PM daily (40 hr. work week), with overtime.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Execute aircraft and aviation maintenance within timelines established by customer, FAA and ATC quality standards.
  • Test and repair aircraft components in accordance with company provided data (manuals, drawings, procedures, etc.) and company provided training.
  • Assemble and disassemble various components of aircraft during repairs and maintenance.
  • Adjust, align and calibrate components using hand tools, gauges, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA and company standards.
  • Maintain orderly work area that is clean and safe.
  • Resolve complex technical problems and troubleshoot unusual repairs.
  • Perform compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.
  • Use, maintain and store company-provided tools and equipment in safe and proper manner.

  • Automotive, HVAC and/or Electrical knowledge
  • Ability and desire to learn the Aerospace Industry

  • Proficient in the use of hand tools
Education / Experience Requirements:
 
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
