Job Title: Engine Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Engine Mechanic responsible for conducting post-lease inspections, which include visual inspection, inventory of engine parts, and installation of parts to upgrade engines. The role involves disassembly and reassembly of engines, maintenance, inspections, repairs, and service work.
Responsibilities
- Perform post-lease inspections, including visual inspections and inventory of engine parts.
- Install parts for engine upgrades.
- Conduct detailed measurements using borescope equipment.
- Disassemble and assemble gear turbo fan engines and engine parts.
- Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, and service on engines.
- Apply knowledge of gas turbine engine hardware and borescope inspection procedures.
- Interpret technical drawings and work from maintenance manuals.
- Use measuring instruments to check dimensions.
- Communicate effectively with managers, field representatives, and mechanics from airline operators.
- Maintain records of all maintenance performed in compliance with FAA or other regulatory agency procedures.
- Resolve customer in-service issues and understand customer engine maintenance and repair preferences.
- Develop internal service center procedures to comply with FAA and regulatory agency requirements.
Essential Skills
- 6+ years of prior experience with GTF (Gear Turbo Fan) engines, preferably V2500 and PW4000 or other commercial engines.
- High school diploma or associate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Powerplant license required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses, operator permits, or certifications.
- A&P is required
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- A&P license.
- Experience with Pratt & Whitney Engines, V2500, and PW4000 engines.
- Familiarity with engine maintenance, post-lease inspections, and borescope procedures.

Work Environment
The role is based in an MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday (1st shift) or Friday through Sunday (weekend shift) with flexible starting hours. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
