Experienced aviation maintenance role performing complete Pratt & Whitney PT6 engine overhauls, component repairs, and troubleshooting in compliance with AS9100 and FAA Part 145.
Job RequirementsValid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.
Proven experience as a Pratt & Whitney engine aircraft mechanic completing full engine overhauls on PT6 engines.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance and vehicle maintenance.
Experience performing assembly, disassembly, fabrication, and repair using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, ammeters, ohmmeters).
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, assembly instructions, and component manuals.
Experience working in accordance with AS9100 standards and Federal Aviation Regulations (Part 145).
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during engine and equipment repairs and installations.
Preferred SkillsProficiency using schematics and CAD software such as CATIA and AutoCAD for component repair and modification.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for recording maintenance activities.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment repair techniques.
Proficiency in the use of coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality assurance.
Experience with welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and related fabrication skills.
Experience troubleshooting avionics systems and performing electrical repairs.
Experience performing structured root cause analysis on aircraft malfunctions.
Job ResponsibilitiesPerform complete overhauls on Pratt & Whitney PT6 aircraft engines in accordance with AS9100 and FAA Part 145 requirements.
Utilize schematics, CATIA, AutoCAD, and other CAD tools to assist in repair, modification, and alignment of aircraft components.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions for engine and aircraft malfunctions.
Execute assembly, fabrication, and repairs using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Maintain detailed, accurate records of maintenance activities in CMMS and required documentation systems.
Troubleshoot avionics systems and perform related electrical repairs as required.
Inspect and verify components using CMM and other inspection tools to ensure conformance to specifications.
Adhere to all applicable safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements during maintenance and repair activities.
Pay Details: $39.00 to $49.00 per hour
