Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance EngineerJob Description
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) is a highly skilled, licensed professional responsible for maintaining aircraft safely and efficiently. Reporting to the Manager of Maintenance Operations, the AME performs a range of tasks, including servicing, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, fabrications, installations, and conducting functional tests on electrical systems and components.
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and modification tasks as assigned to maintain company aircraft.
- Utilize documentation such as AMM, SRM, IPC, SBs, and SLs.
- Provide support for aircraft discrepancy rectification at our bases.
- Report all unserviceable or unsafe conditions and equipment to the supervisor.
- Compile and assist in reporting Service Difficulty Reports (SDRs).
- Participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
- Ensure all tooling is current and serviceable, and documentation is up to date.
- Ensure parts used for maintenance have appropriate paperwork/trace.
- Maintain good housekeeping of company facilities and equipment, reporting any deficiencies.
- Provide training and direction to other technicians and learners.
- Communicate and liaise with maintenance control regarding aircraft deferrals and status.
- Maintain AME M2 license and comply with all training requirements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Work Environment
The position operates on a 5-5-4 shift schedule at the Chartright hangar in Waterloo Wellington Airport, with straight night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
