Summary:
Assembles, disassembles, and modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul operations.
Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment for testing and validation.
Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
Performs validation and verification testing of systems and components to ensure performance.
Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance for repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection results.
Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
Applies knowledge of aerospace systems to modify and repair components.
Uses precision tools and equipment for system configuration and troubleshooting.
Documents test results and inspection findings per regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Ability to Obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Experience assembling, disassembling, and modifying aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
Experience troubleshooting complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Experience performing validation and verification testing of systems and components.
Experience documenting procedures for regulatory compliance (repairs, test results, modifications, inspections).
Experience inspecting components and verifying repairs for flight worthiness.
Ability to configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
Experience with assembly, disassembly, and overhaul of aircraft systems.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Familiarity with quality and safety procedures for aerospace maintenance.
