Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid Airframe and Powerplant (A and P) license.
- Minimum 2 years of aviation maintenance experience.
- Ability to understand and follow FAA and Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and documentation
What You’ll Do
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
Aircraft Maintenance and Safety
- Perform aviation maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, highest shop practices, and safety-of-flight standards
- Coordinate closely with the Quality Control Department
- Document all required maintenance per company manuals
Inspection and Compliance
- When authorized, conduct receiving inspections for parts and accessories to ensure compliance with FAA and company specifications
- Maintain familiarity with all applicable FAA regulations and company policies
Operational and Shop Support
- Keep assigned work areas, shops, and ramps clean and hazard-free
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and improving workflow to minimize delays and increase efficiency
- Manage parts during repair, ensuring correct tagging, handling, and disposition
- Assist in initiating Material Requests as needed
Tools, Equipment and Safety
- Maintain tools and support equipment in safe, operational condition
- Verify that all calibrated equipment used is within calibration date
- Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, ear protection, respirators, and gloves
Administrative and Team Support
- Complete all required company forms, work orders, and maintenance documentation
- Submit written recommendations for procedural improvements
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
