Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will engage in a variety of mechanical duties on diverse aircraft models, including the diagnosis of malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems. Your primary goal will be to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform intermediate and heavy maintenance tasks without supervision.
- Execute airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications to meet company and FAA requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting on airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems.
- Undertake turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run-ups.
- Carry out airframe system component changes and systems checkout.
- Install service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines.
- Complete all Aircraft Manufacturer Scheduled Maintenance items comprehensively.
- Remove and disassemble defective parts, assemble and install replacement parts, and test aircraft systems.
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
- Sign off on work accomplished, including troubleshooting deferred maintenance items, ensuring proper recording of all maintenance tasks on company documents.
- Build customer invoices using labor calculations, purchase orders, and parts mark-up calculations.
- Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and a variety of hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.
- Maintain constant vigilance for safety, ensuring work adheres to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor to reduce excessive labor duplication costs.
- Ensure proper and adequate equipment usage, install acceptable parts or components, and use approved hardware or supplies.
Essential Skills- Experience in aircraft maintenance, specifically with Embraer corporate aircraft or Cirrus products.
- Familiarity with Phenom, Embraer, Praeter, Legacy, Lineage, Cirrus, aircraft maintenance, repair, and line maintenance.
- A&P License is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance, or airframe sheet metal maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in an MRO environment is strongly preferred.Why Work Here?
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
