About the role
We are recruiting for Aircraft Mechanic - Cabin and IFE (Light Maintenance) to be based in Doha, Qatar.
Aircraft Mechanic will deliver Aircraft Maintenance services to support the operational requirements as directed by their supervisor. To ensure all maintenance and related activities are performed in accordance with the company/customer procedures and supplied aircraft maintenance data.
Specific responsibilities of the role include:
Operational
u25AA Conducts tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
u25AA Adjust, aligns and calibrates aircraft systems, using hand tools, gauges and test equipment.
u25AA Examines and inspects engines or other components for cracks, breaks or leaks.
u25AA Dissembles and inspects parts for wear, warping or other defects.
u25AA Assembles and installs electrical, plumbing mechanical, hydraulic and structural components and accessories using hand tools and power tools.
u25AA Services, cleaning screens, greasing screens, greasing moving parts and checking brakes.
u25AA Repairs, replaces and rebuilds aircraft structures, functional components and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging and hydraulic units.
u25AA Tests engine and system operations, using testing equipment and listens to engine sounds to detect and diagnose malfunctions.
u25AA Removes engine from aircraft on installs engine using hoist or forklift truck.
u25AA Modifies aircraft structures, space vehicles, systems or components following drawings, engineering orders and technical publications.
u25AA Reads and interprets aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method
of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
About you
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience:
u25AA Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Trade or vocational aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering.
ICAO Type 2 Basic license with minimum 3 years Aircraft Maintenance experience (including apprenticeship).
u25AA Good Knowledge in IFE and Cabin maintenance related to Light Maintenance
u25AA Airbus and Boeing documentation experience.
