Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic
Job Description
Join our dynamic MRO team as an Aircraft Mechanic. You will be involved in performing A checks and B checks, conducting inspections, and managing the assembly and disassembly of various aircraft components. Your role will also include engine removal and installation. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced colleagues and join project teams that align with your past experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform A checks and B checks on aircraft.
- Conduct inspections to ensure aircraft safety and compliance.
- Assemble and disassemble different aircraft parts.
- Remove and reinstall aircraft engines.
- Collaborate with team members to share expertise and insights.
- Participate in project teams based on experience.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic or AME.
- MRO background with proven expertise.
- Possession of an Aircraft Mechanic License - M2.
- Experience with Dash 8, Q400, or CL aircraft.
- Strong aircraft maintenance and repair skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Assembly experience in aircraft manufacturing.
- Understanding of human factors and fall arrest protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft plans.
- ACA qualification is advantageous.

Work Environment
The position is located in Calgary. You will work in a team-oriented environment with project teams ranging from 4-8 people. The facility accommodates around 100 people and is poised for growth. The work schedule offers flexibility with shifts from Monday to Friday, 6AM-2:30PM, and Monday to Thursday, 11AM-9:30PM, with overtime available as needed.
Compensation Package
-$75 per diem daily
-Options for Hotel accomodations or $500 weekly living allowance
-Mileage reimbursement or flights provided
-Travel hours paid
-Daily travel allowance paid based on eligibility
-Weekly payroll
