The Aircraft Mechanic will work on a fleet that includes CRJ/700/900, Dash 8, and Classics. This role requires an experienced AME, ideally up to ACA level, who can immediately contribute to operations within the facility. The focus will be on performing daily heavy maintenance tasks such as engine checks, gear checks, structural inspections, engine removal and installation, as well as comprehensive inspections of oil systems, wings, and fuselage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct heavy maintenance on aircraft including engine and gear checks.
• Perform structural inspections and engine removal/installations.
• Complete heavy inspections on oil systems, wings, and fuselage.
• Work collaboratively within a team to ensure aircraft meet safety and quality standards.

• AME M2 license or equivalent experience of 2-4 years.
• Proficiency in heavy or line maintenance for Dash 8, CRJ, or Q400 aircraft.
• Installation skills and aircraft maintenance expertise.

• Endorsement on Dash 8, CRJ, or Q400 is a plus.
• ACA certification is advantageous.

Work Environment

The candidate will work in a hangar alongside a team of 5-20 other AMEs, depending on the project. Collaboration with Structures and Avionics teams is essential. Reporting to a crew leader, the role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with potential work on Saturdays and Sundays. There is flexibility for an afternoon shift from Monday to Thursday, 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with weekend availability as needed.
