Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic (GA & Corporate A&P)
Job DescriptionThis role focuses on general aviation and corporate aircraft maintenance, performing inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of airframes and powerplants, including Beechcraft, Caravan, King Air, Cessna, Lycoming, Pratt & Whitney, and Falcon aircraft. You will use your A&P expertise to ensure aircraft are safe, reliable, and compliant with all applicable regulations while working in a busy maintenance, repair, and overhaul environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation and corporate aircraft, including Beechcraft, Caravan, King Air, Cessna, Falcon, and other supported models.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair airframe, powerplant, and related systems in accordance with manufacturer manuals, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
- Carry out phase maintenance and detailed inspections to identify wear, corrosion, and other discrepancies, and complete corrective actions as needed.
- Diagnose mechanical and systems issues using troubleshooting techniques and appropriate tools, documenting findings and repairs accurately.
- Work on a variety of corporate aircraft platforms such as Hawker, Falcon, Phenom, Beechjet, Citation, and Challenger, as experience and assignments require.
- Perform aircraft repairs and component replacements, ensuring proper installation, torque, and functional checks.
- Use basic computer skills to review maintenance documentation, research technical data, and complete electronic work orders and logs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety protocols and best practices in a hangar and ramp environment.
- Use personal and shop-provided tools correctly and safely, including specialty tools supplied by the employer.
- Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to complete maintenance tasks efficiently and return aircraft to service on schedule.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding aircraft status, parts needs, and any issues affecting maintenance timelines.
- Adhere to all regulatory and company quality standards, ensuring accurate, thorough, and compliant maintenance records.
Essential Skills- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or active progress toward obtaining an A&P license.
- At least 1 year of experience in corporate jet maintenance or at least 1 year of general aviation maintenance experience.
- Hands-on experience with general aviation and corporate aircraft maintenance, including airframe and powerplant systems.
- Ability to perform aircraft inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting on platforms such as Beechcraft, Caravan, King Air, Cessna, and Falcon.
- Familiarity with phase maintenance procedures and inspection schedules.
- Basic computer skills for accessing technical data and completing electronic documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and regulatory documentation.
- Capability to perform troubleshooting on aircraft systems, including identifying faults and implementing corrective actions.
- Physical ability to stand on feet most of the day and work in a hangar environment, both indoors and outdoors.
- Possession of basic hand tools suitable for aircraft maintenance work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with corporate aircraft such as Hawker, Falcon, Phenom, Beechjet, Citation, and Challenger.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with Gulfstream or other corporate aircraft platforms is beneficial.
- Powerplant mechanic experience and familiarity with engines such as Lycoming and Pratt & Whitney.
- Experience in general aviation environments, including smaller GA airframes and corporate aircraft.
- Comfort working with specialty tools provided by the employer and adapting to various aircraft types.

Work Environment
You will work primarily in a hangar environment at an active airport, spending most of the day on your feet while performing maintenance tasks both inside the hangar and outdoors on the ramp as needed. The role follows a first-shift schedule, typically from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., providing a consistent daytime work pattern. You will use a combination of your own basic hand tools and specialty tools supplied by the employer, working around general aviation and corporate aircraft in a hands-on, mechanically oriented setting. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and adherence to maintenance procedures while operating in a dynamic, operational airfield setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $90000.00/yr.
