Aircraft Mechanic

Job Description

As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for working on wings, flight control installation, and rigging. The role involves working off of technical drawings, performing mechanical assembly of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and conducting functional testing following wing rigging. You will also be responsible for aircraft jacking and engine installation.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft jacking.
• Install engines.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic.
• Proficiency in management, aviation, and supervisory skills.
• Experience with engine and flight control installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in aviation/aerospace.
• 3-5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, maintenance, or repair.

Work Environment

You will be working in a clean and bright manufacturing environment on the Global 7000/8000 in final assembly. The position requires working the midnight shift from 11 PM to 7 AM. Candidates open to afternoon shifts may also be considered. The dress code includes pants with long sleeves, safety boots, and goggles.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mississauga, ON.

The pay range for this position is $70262.40 - $100360.00/yr.
