Job Title: Aircraft Technician

Job Description

We are hiring several Aircraft Technicians to perform line maintenance at Chicago OHare International Airport.

Your role will involve both on-call and scheduled maintenance tasks on various aircraft. You will be responsible for routine maintenance and airworthiness releases, ensuring aircraft are returned to service safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform line maintenance duties and activities as assigned.
• Conduct routine maintenance and airworthiness releases, returning aircraft to service.
• Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components.
• Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble components.
• Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FARs and manufacturer manuals.
• Collaborate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.

Work Environment

Candidates will primarily work outside, equipped with a vehicle to travel between aircraft for maintenance tasks. An office located just outside the airport is available for training purposes. Initially, training will be conducted in a team setting; however, technicians will eventually work independently. The work schedule includes a 3rd shift from Sunday to Wednesday, 11:00 pm - 9:30 am, or Thursday to Saturday, 8:00 pm - 9:30 am, with overtime available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rosemont, IL.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Rosemont,IL.
