Aerotek is accepting application for an Aircraft Mechanic to maintain Air Tractor Amphibious aircraft for a company in South Saint Paul, MN.

Job Title: The main aircraft you will be performing maintenance on is the AT-802F Fire Boss, a water-scooping air tanker purpose-built for cost-effective aerial firefighting.
Pay is 70,000-85K This is a salary position.
Work Environment
When in the shop it is M-F 7:00am -3:30pm. The Summer time is the busy months, and candidates must be open to travel an on call 24/7
Description:
- Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components; effectively performs work to meet deadlines and performance goals
- Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment
- Ensure all departing fleet aircraft are safe in accordance with FAR’s and the air carrier/manufacturer manuals and all work performed is properly documented
- Document all work accomplished in a clear, concise, and accurate manner
- Responsible for knowing, understanding, following, and promoting company policies and procedures.
- Display all safety, environmental and general housekeeping rules, and policies
- Any other miscellaneous job duties required by the supervisor or company
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
5+ plus years of GA experience
Pratt & Whitney PT6 engine experience preferred
A&P License
Drivers License
Candidates must be open to Travel
