JOB TITLE: Aircraft Quality Inspector

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Visually inspect in-process and finished products including electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical structures.
Use measurement tools (micrometers, scales, dial indicators, fixtures) to verify dimensional and quality requirements.
Accept or reject parts based on specifications, drawings, and inspection criteria.
Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and document non-conforming materials or assemblies.
Review blueprints, drawings, CATIA models, customer specs, and inspection checklists.
Conduct line clearances to ensure previous lot materials are removed.
Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
Inspect vendor, subcontractor, and internal parts and assemblies.
Support production flow by cross-training and assisting assembly technicians as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned; training and certification provided as required.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency with measurement tools and inspection equipment
Blueprint and drawing review experience
First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
Ability to follow inspection procedures and quality control requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
