Job Description

We are seeking two skilled Sheet Metal Mechanics for a long-term project at a repair station. The role involves fabricating, assembling, installing, and modifying sheet metal components on various aircraft. This project is expected to last for over a year.

Responsibilities

• Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Utilize hand and power tools for sheet metal repair and installation.
• Work on structural modifications for commercial aircraft, regional jets, helicopters, and corporate jets.
• Maintain an organized inventory of personal tools, ensuring they are etched and accounted for.

Essential Skills

• 3-5+ years of experience in Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structures.
• Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installation, and modification.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience with various aircraft types including commercial, regional, and corporate jets.
• Possession of personal tools that are etched and inventoried.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a P145 repair station is beneficial.
• Knowledge of MRO, Repair Station, and airframe structures.

Work Environment

Work is conducted in a hangar and outside environment. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 4:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime. Dress code is appropriate for a hands-on repair station setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, PA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
