Job Title: Structural Technician
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Structural Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to build and test mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies, contributing significantly to our innovative projects.
Responsibilities
- Complete work order operations, quality buyoffs, and issuing hardware.
- Build mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies.
- Perform functional qualification testing and harness routing between kit assemblies.
- Proficiently use various mechanical tools.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and install fluid and electromechanical components from schematics or drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and leadership to develop and implement operational improvements.
- Adapt quickly to changing roles and responsibilities in a high-paced work environment.
- Play a critical role in coordinated vehicle movements and integrated pressurized ground operations.
Essential Skills- Experience in a startup development environment.
- Experience working in a flight development program.
- Experience transitioning parts/assemblies from the first article to production.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A&P license preferred.
- Modify, repair, assemble, drill, and install aircraft components.
- Experience with CAD/CAM preferred.
- Basic shop knowledge of tools and equipment.
- Previous systems development experience.
- GSE build and operations experience.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to take measurements using precision tools.
- Experience with integration and assembly of large structural assemblies.
- Some experience and knowledge of simple harnessing and connectorizing.
- Ability to design and fabricate necessary tooling.
- Experience supervising large lifts and rigging.
- Previous experience with component-level builds and tests.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues on the floor and redline changes for engineering.
- Willingness to travel for test operations.

Work Environment
The work environment is partially climate-controlled and can be warm in the summer, but large fans help maintain comfort. All necessary tools are provided, and the atmosphere is highly collaborative.

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.50/hr.
