Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Structural Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be integral to the construction and modification of mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies, ensuring their functionality and quality. You will work closely with engineers and leadership to enhance operational processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete work order operations, quality buyoffs, and issue hardware.
• Build mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies.
• Perform functional qualification testing and harness routing between kit assemblies.
• Proficiently use various mechanical tools.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and install fluid and electromechanical components from schematics or drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and leadership to implement operational improvements.
• Adapt quickly to changing roles and responsibilities.
• Contribute to coordinated vehicle movements and integrated pressurized ground operations.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a startup development environment.
• Experience working in a flight development program.
• A&P license is preferred.
• Experience transitioning parts/assemblies from the first article to production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Modify, repair, assemble, drill, and install aircraft components.
• Ability to drill, ream, and countersink full-size holes in parts and assemblies.
• Basic shop knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Previous systems development experience.
• GSE build and operations experience.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with integration and assembly of large structural assemblies.
• Ability to design and fabricate necessary tooling.
• Experience supervising large lifts and rigging.
• Willingness to travel for test operations.

Work Environment

The work environment is partially climate-controlled, with large fans to combat summer heat. All necessary tools are provided, and the atmosphere is highly collaborative, promoting teamwork and innovative problem-solving.

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $39.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Atlanta,GA.
