Job Title: Structural Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Structural Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a startup setting and is eager to contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Complete work order operations, quality buyoffs, and issue hardware.
- Build mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies.
- Perform functional qualification testing and harness routing between kit assemblies.
- Proficiently use various mechanical tools.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and install fluid and electromechanical components from schematics or drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and leadership to develop operational improvements.
- Adapt to rapidly changing roles and responsibilities.
- Play a critical role in coordinated vehicle movements and integrated pressurized ground operations.
Essential Skills
- Experience in a startup development environment.
- Experience working in a flight development program.
- Experience transitioning parts/assemblies from first article to production.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- A&P license is preferred.
- Ability to modify, repair, assemble, drill, and install aircraft components.
- CAD/CAM experience preferred.
- Basic shop knowledge of tools and equipment.
- Previous systems development experience.
- GSE build and operations experience.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to take measurements using precision tools.
- Experience with integration and assembly of large structural assemblies.
- Knowledge of simple harnessing and connectorizing.
- Experience supervising large lifts and rigging.
- Experience with component-level builds and tests.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and redline changes for engineering.
- Willingness to travel for test operations.

The work environment is partially climate-controlled, which can be hot in the summer, but large fans help maintain comfort. Tools are provided, and the team culture is highly collaborative.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $39.00/hr.
