- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Aviation Production or equivalent industries such as:
- Shipbuilding
- Heavy Machinery
- Automotive Manufacturing
- Military Aviation
- MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Drilling tools and machines
- Templates and fasteners
- Torqueing tools
- Ability to successfully complete required training:
- Health & Safety
- General Aircraft Familiarization
- Quality Training
- Proficiency in blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation
- Ability to use computers to enter, generate, and retrieve information (SAP and Excel required)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Aviation Production or equivalent industries
- Vocational or employer-based training in application tools and assembly techniques
- Completion of a Technology Certification or post-secondary technical training program
- Knowledge of station safety, quality standards (Clean As You Go / FOD prevention), and OSHA requirements
- Precision measurement skills using:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Depth gauges
- Dial indicators
- Torque specification knowledge (tightening to defined tolerances)
- Experience following strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Documentation experience including work sign-offs, part tracking, and lot control
- Sheet metal fabrication experience including:
- Cutting
- Bending
- Riveting
- Deburring
Work Environment
- Manufacturing / production floor environment
- Multiple shifts available
- Onsite position
