We are seeking experienced Aircraft Structures Mechanics to join a growing MRO operation supporting extensive heavy maintenance work on commercial aircraft such as Boeing 757 and 767 platforms. This role involves performing structural repairs, modifications, and inspections in accordance with OEM specifications, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of sheet metal and structural repairs on commercial aircraft, including skins, frames, stringers, bulkheads, doors, and flight control surfaces.
- Carry out repairs, replacements, and fabrication using rivets, fasteners, bonding materials, composite repair materials, and approved procedures.
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, structural repair manuals (SRMs), engineering orders, and work instructions.
- Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rivet guns to complete tasks accurately and safely.
- Conduct damage assessments and document findings in accordance with maintenance documentation standards.
- Ensure all repairs meet FAA and company quality requirements.
- Work collaboratively with quality inspectors, leads, and engineering support to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Support heavy maintenance C-check and D-check operations as required.
Pay: $32/hr + $800/week per diem split
With A&P License: $34/hr + $880/week per diem split
Shift: Second Shift – 4:00 PM start time
Schedule Options:
- Monday–Thursday
- Tuesday–Friday
- Optional: 3×13s over the weekend
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of heavy maintenance experience
