Aerotek is hiring for a Aircraft Structures Technician to support a corporate aviation maintenance provider located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Job Title: Aircraft Structures Technician
Pay Rate: $30-$40 per hour
Shift: 4-10s. Either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday - Friday. OT is available hours are 6:00am-4:00pm
Position Description:
Technician will mainly performing structures and maintenance on Lear 45/75, Citation line, King Air, or Pilatus. This job will be 50 structures, and 50 aircraft maintenance. Structures work includes panel removing, riveting, and sheet metal.
While doing mechanic Duties the technician generally inspects, repairs, overhauls, upgrades and cleans aircraft. Provide for the general and routine maintenance and do so in accordance with all Federal Aviation Administration regulations, all aircraft manufacturers recommendation and all company policies and procedures. Additionally A&P mechanics are required to maintain detailed records concerning all work conducted, inspections performed, conditions found, and safety compliance.
Job Responsibilities
• Read and interpret technical data
• Make required work order entries for discrepancies and corrective actions
• Mechanical ability to execute per technical data
• Parts identification, read and interpret IPC
• Remove and install aircraft panels.
• Basic operational and functional checks
• Provide nitrogen and oxygen servicing
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of Structures experience
- A&P License
- Will look at candidates without an A&P license and only 3 years of aircraft sheetmetal experience.
