Job Description

To perform mechanical and structural maintenance work on the helicopter and components in accordance with appropriate approved data and to approved standards, in accordance with the current Maintenance Organization Approvals. Component Maintenance Technician is directly responsible for the assigned maintenance activities performed on them.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Performs inspection, maintenance and overhaul tasks on assigned components.

  • Interprets technical manuals, schematics, drawings and blueprints.

  • Analyzes mechanical and structural problems, proposes solutions and implements remedial processes.

  • Is responsible for the removal and disassembly of defective parts, assembly and installation of replacement parts, and testing components to verify correct condition.

  • Identifies, from approved parts lists/documentation, replacement and servicing parts and consumables necessary to perform particular maintenance activities.

  • Reports identified additional defects and discrepancies in a timely and correct manner.

  • Is responsible for the correct use of supplied tooling and specialized equipment.

  • Completes all required maintenance documentation.

  • Ensures that all maintenance activities performed are included in the designated work package.

  • Is capable of traveling for all required training.

  • Accurately records time worked on a specific work order to ERP.

  • Is responsible for the proper use and operation of all personal protective equipment and work place safety equipment.

  • Maintains the work environment in a clean and safe condition.

Job Requirements:


Required Qualifications:


    • High School education (Mechanical
    • Must have required Licence L1/Part66

    • Driving License

    • Technical knowledge

    • Experienced in Aircraft Industry

    • PC skills
