Aero Maintenance Services is seeking FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technicians to join our team in Sarasota, Florida (KSRQ). This position focuses primarily on piston aircraft maintenance. We are looking for technicians who take pride in quality work, safety, and professional aircraft maintenance standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on piston aircraft
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance
- Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and company procedures
- Complete maintenance documentation and logbook entries accurately
- Work with team members to maintain efficient shop operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
- Experience working on piston aircraft
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with aviation maintenance tools
- Must provide own tools
- Detail-oriented with strong safety mindset
