We are seeking an experienced Airframe Sheet Metal Mechanic to support aircraft structural and sheet metal installation, repair, and modification operations. The ideal candidate will perform installation of aircraft sheet metal and structural components in accordance with approved methods, technical drawings, and military standards. This role requires hands-on experience in aircraft structures, the ability to work in demanding physical environments, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and cleanliness.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including 5 years working to military standards and specifications.
• Experience installing, removing, inspecting, repairing, and reinstalling aircraft sheet metal and structural components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, technical manuals, safety rules, and maintenance procedures.
• Experience performing structural repairs or enhancements on rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft platforms such as UH-60 variants, AH-64, CH-47, C-130 series, V-22, and similar aircraft preferred.
• Experience performing continuity and power checks and using special test equipment and tools.
• Ability to annotate logbooks and maintenance documentation in accordance with applicable military or contractual guidance.
• Must provide own general tools (specialty tools provided).
• Willingness and ability to travel overseas as required.
• Ability to operate ground support equipment such as power carts, tugs, and forklifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds (heavier items require assistance) and perform work in confined, awkward, or elevated positions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• High level of self-motivation, ability to multitask, follow processes, and work independently.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

TRAINING & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Position is Contract-to-Hire.
• Work is performed in hangar and flight line environments and requires strict adherence to safety, FOD prevention, and clean-as-you-go practices.
• May require climbing ladders, platforms, scaffolding, and aircraft structures, as well as prolonged standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
