This role will incorporate instructions, drawings and assembly instructions and processes to assemble Cables to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards. May monitor and verify assemblys in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Communicates effectively with Engineers and various levels of management when resolving build issues.

Basic Qualifications:
Strong background in the manufacturing/Build of Cables

Ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.

Experience with soldered, crimp, harness and mechanical inspection IAW IPC-A-620 requirements as well as common hand tool usage

Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions and material to facilitate the cable build process.

Perform measurements verification thru proper use of various devices (i.e. dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc.).

Proficient with Personal Computers, and familiarity with Outlook, Excel, Solumina and EPDM.

This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
