To be able to assemble and test A320 single aisle family landing gears. Be part of a team to complete the required quantity of shipsets per week to meet our customers expectations. Deliver a product in line with quality, cost, and delivery.

About the role:
As an Assembly Fitter, youll join talented technical professionals and engineers working on groundbreaking aerospace projects, using the latest digital tools and innovative approaches. Your work will contribute to advancing sustainability, safety, and performance across the aviation industry.

Key responsibilities:
•tAssemble and test nose and forestay, main gears and sidestays for aerospace landing gear, with quality being at a high level.
•tContinuous improvement on improving the quality and efficiency of both the assembly and test of the units.

Job Requirements:

What you'll need:

•\tEngineering Apprenticeship or equivalent ideally gained within Aerospace or Automotive
•\tKnowledge of working with and assembling aircraft Landing Gears
•\tExperience in reading component maintenance manuals, drawings, engineering layouts and additions to the original design such as Service Bulletins, Service Letters and Airworthiness Directives
•\tAbility to build and test complex sub-assemblies and Landing gears complete
•\tAbility to use a wide range of precision measuring and test equipment
•\tHave an understanding of basic electrical circuitry for fitment and test of harness/switches etc
•\tResponsibility and confidence to sign and stamp off own work for safe release back into flight service in line with all relevant build documentation
