Position Summary
Perform various assemblies of stainless steel, steel, and 6MO parts using components and body-level parts. Fillcustomer orders by boxing, labeling, and preparing assembled parts for shipping.
Responsibilities
• Analyze and verify order requirements for ATO jobs reflecting customer orders.• Perform assembles with ALOK (two ferrules) or CPI (single ferrule) requirements in large volumes.• Complete training and obtain production efficiency in assembling parts for the various sizes of ALOK and CPI products, as well as bulk pack, multipress, steel, 6MO, and any additional product and order variations.• Complete document requirements for verification of completed assemblies.• Complete customer orders by boxing and labeling individual parts effectively and efficiently for shipment to the customer.• Participate in the Warehouse HPT and 5S duties.• All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or designee.
Qualifications
Education, Credentials and Previous Experience:• High School Diploma or GED EquivalentTechnical Depth and Breadth:• Basic knowledge of and ability to use web-based programs for labeling and other business applications(MSS).• Ability to understand basic standard instructions and order specifications.• Working knowledge of basic simple mechanical mechanisms.Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:• Perform tasks with little supervision• Able to effectively work on and manage multiple tasks daily, communicate professionally with co-workers,show flexibility to learn multiple jobs within the department, and show aptitude to perform essential jobfunctions listed above.• Actively participate in improvement activities, Lean projectsAn assessment may be requiredTeamwork and Interpersonal Skills:• Dependable, prompt, and reliable with good overall attendance• Demonstrate ability to get along with others; behave professionally; treat all coworkers with respect anddignity consistent with Parker Values and Code of Conduct.• Actively participate; gain cooperation and trust; and deal with conflicts effectively.• Maintain well organized 5S work area.Communication/Contact with Others:• Able to read, understand, and follow written & verbal instructions and directions in English.• Keep others informed, provide accurate and timely feedback, communicate clearly, listen, and be receptiveto feedback.Physical and Mental Demand:With or without reasonable accommodation:• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.• Frequently required to work around and/or visit manufacturing operations exposed to noise, fumes, heavymachinery, and other shop-related hazards.• Occasional lifting or moving of lightweight (<20 lbs.) material.• Good hand/eye coordination• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.• Use of Personal Protective Equipment as required, may include safety glasses, safety shoes, hearingprotection, and/or any other equipment deemed necessary.
