Description:Perform a wide variety of production assembly, development and repair/refurbishment work on complex mechanical and electronic assemblies. This involves mechanical as well as electrical wiring operations; includes fitting and alignment of parts to close tolerances. Instruct/train co-workers in same or lower classifications on process and equipment operation. Must work with formal (drawings, schematics, connection diagrams, parts lists) and informal (engineering sketches, notes, diagrams) documentation.

**MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO WORK ANY SHIFT**
**Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance after start of employment . Obtaining a security clearance requires US Citizenship**
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to work effectively in team environment.
• High school degree or equivalency.
• Demonstrated capability in the use of standard measurement instrumentation and devices.
• Experience in complicated electro-mechanical assembly work.
• Must be able to work from prints, sketches, written or oral instructions, and Engineering Change Notices.
• Ability to select parts and/or materials for required applications.
• Ability to operate computerized documentation and data recording equipment.
• Must have experience in the use of hand and power assisted tools
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader

The base range for this position in New York is $30.61 - $32.86.
