Why Join Rotortrade?
You’re a hands-on sheetmetal technician who takes pride in precision fabrication and high-quality structural repairs. In this permanent role based in Latrobe, PA, you’ll work in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station, supporting sheetmetal and composite repairs/alterations across aircraft structures.
Helicopter experience is a plus. Aircraft completions experience is a strong advantage.
What you’ll do
- Build and/or repair sheet metal structures in accordance with aircraft maintenance manuals, drawings, and blueprints
- Build and repair composite structures (repairs, alterations, and rework as required)
- Assist with disassembly and reassembly of aircraft panels and structures
- Install modification/upgrade kits per requirements and documentation
- Construct parts/items per drawings and manuals
- Repair aircraft parts using sheet metal and/or composite materials
- Inspect completed work and components for serviceability and quality compliance
- Support other departments as required in a team-based Part 145 environment
- Occasionally complete off-site work when required
What you bring
- Strong proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and structural repair
- Working knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, aircraft drawings, maintenance manuals, and installation manuals
- Experience with composite repair work (or strong exposure and willingness to deepen skills)
- A safety-first mindset, attention to detail, and an organized approach to work
- Comfort working to procedures and documentation discipline in an FAA-regulated environment

- Helicopter structural experience
- Aircraft completions experience
- Broad Part 145 repair station experience across multiple aircraft types
Employment Conditions
- Salary: $58,000 – $104,000 gross/year depending on profile
- Contract: Full Time
- On-site: based on business needs
