- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certification. (Required)
- All applicants must meet FAA Licensure/Certification requirements for the occupation. (Required)
- Five (5) years successful work experience in the AMT field as a FAA certified technician. (Preferred)
- FAA Inspection Authorization. (Preferred)
- Associate’s degree with courses in Math, Science, or aviation. (Preferred)
- Three (3) years of successful teaching in the field of aviation maintenance or other related experiences. (Preferred)
- Prior experience or training with blackboard online course delivery system (Strongly Preferred). Blackboard certification is required within six months of initial employment and will be reviewed mid-year.
