- Bachelor's degree in aviation or a closely related field from an accredited institution or equivalent qualifications as determined by the appointing authority.
- Airframe & Powerplant Certification.
- Three years of relevant work experience in an aviation capacity.
- Demonstrated presentation skills in the classroom including integration of computer-based aviation software program(s).
- Commitment to the mission of Cape Cod Community College and the (AMT) Aviation Training Center in Plymouth, MA.
- Strong pedagogy and an ability to relate to the current needs of students.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be collaborative with colleagues and be a part of a dynamic faculty and staff.
- Potential to make significant contributions to curriculum development in a collegiate model.
- Ability to meet the challenges of a rigorous curriculum and support a diverse student body.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree.
- Advanced FAA certifications: IA, ATP, CFII, Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot License, Dispatch Cert.
- Experience with innovative instructional strategies that support student success.

COMPENSATION: Full-time, MCCC Unit Position with average salary range of $52,880 - $62,960 (for 9-month academic year); actual salary will be commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience and consistent with the MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Position also includes participation in a comprehensive employee benefits program, including option to participate in the Massachusetts Employee State Retirement System.
