Job Title: Quality Inspector
Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Pay: $18-27- based on experience and interview
Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting, measuring, and verifying helicopter components and assemblies to ensure they meet strict aerospace quality and safety standards. This role supports production by performing detailed inspections throughout the manufacturing process, documenting results, and ensuring all parts comply with engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on helicopter parts, subassemblies, and finished components.
- Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM equipment) to verify part tolerances and specifications.
- Review engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications to validate part accuracy.
- Document inspection findings, nonconformances, and test results in company quality systems.
- Work closely with machinists, assemblers, and engineers to resolve quality issues and support root-cause investigations.
- Conduct incoming inspections on supplier-delivered materials and components.
- Ensure all parts meet aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA requirements as applicable).
- Maintain a clean, organized inspection area and properly care for calibrated tools and gauges.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.00/hr.
