Aircraft Structural Installer – AH-64 / CH-47 / H-60 Programs
We are seeking motivated and experienced Aircraft Structural Installers to support military rotorcraft programs including the AH-64 Apache, CH-47, and H-60 platforms. This position involves structural disassembly, installation, modification, and repair of aircraft components while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Candidates with experience supporting Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasures (ATIRCM) Systems are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural disassembly, assembly, modification, and installation on military aircraft platforms including AH-64, CH-47, and H-60 helicopters.
- Install units, parts, equipment, and structural components according to engineering drawings, technical manuals, and specifications.
- Remove and replace damaged or worn structural components including panels, fittings, fasteners, and airframe sections.
- Conduct inspections of aircraft structures to identify corrosion, wear, or damage requiring repair or replacement.
- Fabricate and fit replacement parts using drills, rivet guns, hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Perform sheet metal and structural repair work in accordance with FAA, DoD, and company quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to meet program schedules and milestones.
- Document maintenance, repair, and installation activities in accordance with company and regulatory procedures.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred OR appropriate military occupational specialty training required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation structures, sheet metal, structural assembly, or aircraft maintenance preferred.
- Experience on military rotorcraft platforms (AH-64, CH-47, H-60) strongly preferred.
- Experience with Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasures (ATIRCM) Systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of airframe structural systems, sheet metal repair, composites, and aircraft fasteners.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to pass a DOT drug screening and criminal background check.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
Schedule
- Schedule is determined by need and availability
- 4x10 (6 AM to 4:30 PM)
- 5x8 (1st at 5:30 AM, 2nd shift at 2:30 PM)
