Description:• Responsible for F-22 Flight Test avionics/electrical maintenance efforts at Edwards AFB, California.
• Performs the operational check-out of avionics/electrical systems prior to or after installation on F-22 aircraft; the alignment, testing, modification, and diagnosis, and correction of causes of
trouble in such systems; and the construction, modification, calibration, and testing of electronic testing equipment on F-22 aircraft.
• Must be able to make complete operational test of
avionics/electronics equipment and test equipment including major troubleshooting.
• Modifies electronic equipment as required by customer
specifications.
• Is responsible for complete operational check-out of at least one major production, prototype, new or modified electronic system prior to or after installation on the airplane.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning and performs rework, repair,
adjustment, replacement of parts indicated as necessary by results of the checks through use of volt ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, audio oscillators, frequency and power measuring equipment, pulse generators, and other special electronic test equipment, being guided by equipment instruction books, functional test specifications, and check sheets and/or verbal or written information furnished by Engineering.
• Modifies electronic equipment, test benches, and test equipment as required by customer specifications by performing such operations as adding, relocating, removing, or altering plugs, wires, relays, resistors, capacitors, and other items used in electronic circuits.
• Must be able to work any shift.
• Weight restriction: Able to Lift/push/pull/carry a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Body positioning: Able to twist/bend (neck or waist) and stoop. Able to work in awkward positions as required. Able to squat/kneel/crawl/reach as required.
Basic Qualifications:
-Maintenance Experience with Military Fighter Aircraft Avionics Systems
-Flight Line Maintenance experience.
-Experience with reading complex Drawings, Schematics and
Diagrams.
-Experience with aircraft wiring installation and maintenance
operations incidental to or in connection with the primary work operations described above
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week

The base range for this position in California is $30.52 - $48.70.
