Aviation Test Technician

Job Description

• As an Aviation Technician, you will perform diversified test operations and troubleshoot electronic assemblies. You will work effectively with the assembly team to ensure timely shipments, diagnose most test failures to the component level, and coordinate corrective actions. Additionally, you will assist in the calibration of electronic test equipment and ensure all test equipment utilized is in working order and in calibration at all times. Providing accurate and timely status updates to new production and return tracking documents will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified test operations and troubleshoot electronic assemblies.
• Work effectively with the assembly team to ensure timely shipments.
• Diagnose most test failures to the component level and coordinate corrective actions.
• Assist in the calibration of electronic test equipment.
• Ensure all test equipment utilized is in working order and in calibration at all times.
• Provide accurate and timely status updates to new production and return tracking documents.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of electronic testing experience as a technician/troubleshooting.
• 3+ years working with RF electronics (radio frequency).
• Ability to use test equipment including multi meters, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, and signal generators.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Experience testing electrical components, hardware, and subassemblies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Aerospace/aviation industry experience is very strongly preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is indoors, working at a bench or alongside other test technicians to test assembly and subassemblies. You will also walk around to use different equipment or environmental testing chambers

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Walton Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Fort Walton Beach,FL.
