Job Description
We are seeking a Senior-Level Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to support our growing Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. Based at Lexington North Carolina Davidson County Airport, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing efficiencies, safety, and performance across all platforms. This position involves maintaining various airframes, mentoring teammates, and fostering a collaborative, safety-focused culture.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbine and turboprop aircraft.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and avionics discrepancies with technical expertise.
- Ensure all maintenance complies with 14 CFR regulations and internal standards.
- Manage data using maintenance tracking systems and scheduling software.
- Record maintenance activities in compliance with FAA and internal documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to optimize aircraft readiness and turnaround time.
Required Skills
- Airframe or A&P License with 8+ years experience on Challenger and/or Beechjet Aircraft
- Will consider candidates with 8+ years with good CRJ since similar to Challenger Aircraft
- Strong understanding of 14 CFR Part 145 regulations and aviation safety standards.
- Proven ability to manage priorities independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments.
- Experience with maintenance tracking programs such as Traxxall, Ebis, CAMP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid and current FAA Airframe or A&P License.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred but not required.
- Raytheon & Cessna/Citation factory training preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential shifts. Currently, no weekends are required but this may change in the future. The work environment is dynamic and safety-focused, with a professional dress code.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
