Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Quality Specialist at a leading distribution center in Hialeah, where we manage a comprehensive inventory of over a million part numbers for OEMs, MROs, and airlines. Our facility specializes in receiving third-party manufactured parts, conducting quality inspections, and efficiently shipping them to manufacturing facilities.
Pay
Shift
- Monday - Friday (1st and 2nd Shifts)
Position Responsibilities:
- Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements
- Provides objective evidence of results
- Performs auditing, surveillance, and monitoring. Identifies and documents discrepancies
- Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
- Under limited supervision, inspects incoming parts/material, outgoing orders verify that certification is correct, checks parts for processing, checks special orders, daily use of micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc.
- Conducts dimensional inspections per design record and documented AQL levels; Conducts visual inspections for obvious defects.
- Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards; communicate with vendor as needed. Disposition and control of on-conforming products.
- Obtain and maintain Customer Designated Supplier Quality Representative Stamps
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 2+ years of related work experience using of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator, and Smart scope
- Experience in QA inspection methods and procedures
- Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
- Experience in quality inspections within the aerospace industry.
- Ability to interpret quality manuals and certificates of conformance.
- Proficient in visual inspection, quality check, and document control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous aerospace industry inspection experience.
- Must be able to interpret airworthiness documentation.
- Experience in QA inspection methods and procedures, including First Article Inspection.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
