Battery Shop Technician (A&P Preferred, Any Experience, Florida)

Universal Aero Accessories is seeking a well-rounded individual, preferably with an A&P License to join our team as an Aircraft Battery and Emergency Power Supply Technician! A&P Preferred but not required.

SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Chief Inspector and Shop Manager, a technician will perform several tasks related to the airworthiness of Aircraft Batteries and Emergency Power Supplies; including inspections, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacing parts on assigned units using methods, techniques, and practices set forth by the aircraft or component’s manufacturer. We are looking for a technician who always strives to exceed expectations for the company and our customers. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, repair, and troubleshoot parts as directed and assigned.
• Clean, disassemble, and complete proper maintenance of aircraft batteries, power supplies and misc. parts.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.

• This job can be labor intensive and requires plenty of standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting heavy parts. This position does require you to have the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

• Must Possess and maintain a current DL in good standing in which state it is issued.
