Bonding Technician

The Bonding Technician will have the responsibility of supporting the bonding fabrication of developmental processes and processes for composite & metallic materials. In addition, the Technician will be called upon to participate across other functional areas based on the work demand and priorities each day.

Deliverables

• Works with supervision using drawings, process instructions, test plans, or other written specifications to perform job duties.
• Under the direction of Team Leaders, responsible for meeting technical, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
• Must be able to perform hands-on work with moderate dexterity.

Requirements

• GED or diploma from an accredited school.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a composite bonding manufacturing environment, or experience working in a textile and/or process-oriented role requiring a moderate to advanced level of dexterity
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and tolerancing, including material identification and ply tables
• Demonstrated ability using various measurement techniques – scales, calipers, indexes, etc

• Understanding of and experience with Metallic & Composite Mechanical Bonding and fabrication processes
• Self-Motivated Team Player
• Assembly and familiarization with hand tools experience
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities effectively
• Detail-oriented and basic computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with SAP applications
