We are seeking a skilled Dedicated Aviation Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain a CL3500, and to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has significant experience working with Bombardier Challenger 300/350/3500 series aircraft, possesses strong troubleshooting skills, is an organized and thorough communicator, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position based in our Orlando, Florida location.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively plan for scheduled maintenance, coordinate with vendors as required, order dedicated parts, and track progress on behalf of the owner.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft along side Northern Jet Management and third party vendors in accordance with FAA, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies, with a focus on maximizing uptime and minimizing AOG.
- Routinely communicate with the owner regarding the status of the aircraft, including detailed technical explanations, recommendations, and project timelines.
- Work collaboratively with pilots, Optimization, and internal and external maintenance teams to ensure aircraft availability.
- Conduct detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on the airframe, engines, avionics, and other aircraft systems.
- Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to complete maintenance tasks effectively.
- Document all maintenance actions accurately in maintenance logs and comply with all reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the hangar and on the tarmac.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, training, and certifications.
