Role Overview:As a Field Service Representative, you will provide technical direction and assistance to customers in the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of GE Aerospace Composite Propeller Systems. This on-site role involves hands-on repair and maintenance, as well as providing critical communication and support to ensure customer satisfaction and program success. Your work will directly contribute to GE Aerospace’s mission of delivering high-quality solutions to the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general technical direction and assistance to customers in the operation, maintenance, repair, logistic support, and installation of GE products.
  • Interpret technical data and provide on-site instruction to customers.
  • Communicate program status, customer issues, and market intelligence to Project Engineering, Program Management, and Field Service teams.
  • Prepare timely reports on program activities, customer problems, and sales opportunities.
  • Assist customers in scheduling maintenance and workload, ensuring parts meet established schedules.
  • Perform intermediate and depot-level maintenance, including hands-on repair and maintenance of Composite Propeller Systems and related components.
  • Review maintenance actions to identify training needs and recommend improvements.
  • Anticipate program requirements and assist in implementing actions to address them.

The Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, hands-on professional with strong technical expertise in aviation maintenance and repair. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication and leadership skills, and are committed to delivering exceptional service to customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of aviation experience in a Field Service or Maintenance position).
  • Minimum of 2 years performing extensive repairs, conversions, and maintenance on engines and/or propeller systems.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a non-DOT drug test and a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel up to 60 days worldwide.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proven analytical and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Proficient in Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information Systems.

The base pay range for this position is $86,200 - $95,000 The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
