Schedule: Monday to Friday; Must be flexible to work all shifts (1st, 2nd & 3rd)
Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking highly skilled Electrical Mechanics (Level 2) to support the prestigious VC 25B Program in San Antonio, TX. This is a full time, 9 month consulting opportunity where your expertise directly contributes to mission critical aircraft that shape the future of national and global aviation.
What You’ll Do Perform on and off aircraft electrical modifications on wiring and system components.
Execute complex connector terminations (shielded wires, coaxial cables, fiber optics).
Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, wire diagrams, technical orders, and process specifications.
Seal, wrap, bond, tie, and close wire harnesses per standard processes.
Conduct operational testing, visual inspections, and quality checks on aircraft electrical work.
Troubleshoot electrical and environmental systems at the organizational and depot maintenance levels.
Assist in aircraft bench and flight line testing following DOD, OEM, and company standards.
Required Qualifications4+ years of hands on experience performing duties aligned with aircraft electrical work.
Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic theories and systems.
Experience fabricating and routing wire bundles, including installations without existing wiring.
Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift ~35 pounds, and pass visual/color acuity tests.
High school diploma or GED
Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, including Hazardous Energy/Lockout Tagout.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Depot Level/Modification maintenance.
Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or electric elevating equipment.
Ability to support fluctuating mission priorities, including overtime, weekends, and potential travel (up to 25).

Pay Details: $35.00 per hour
