Role PurposeThis position is responsible for upholding high standards of quality assurance within the organization by conducting audits, organizing training, maintaining records and ensuring quality/compliance while overseeing vendor and budget preparation for the CAMO department.
Key AccountabilityConduct and actively participate in internal and external Quality Audits/Surveillance, safety-related activities, and compile comprehensive audit/surveillance reports.Oversee the annual audit plan and remind the EQA department regarding upcoming audits.Strategize, coordinate, and gain approval for internal and external training programs for CAMO staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and fostering competency development.Supervise the vendor approval process and control the vendor listing.Administer Competency Assessments for CAMO staff to ensure their proficiency and competence.Maintain meticulous records of NPH, auditors and regulatory approvals.Develop and prepare the training budget for CAMO and the Opex budget for EQA.Qualifications & Working ExperienceDegree or Diploma in Aviation Maintenance related field.Minimum 3 (Degree) or 5 (Diploma) years of experiences in Aviation Maintenance with at least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance.Audit and Train the Trainer certificate. Attended training on Human Factors, SMS, Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS, Part M, Part 145 and Gen Fam on aircraft type.Areas of ExperienceQuality Assurance functions, Aircraft Maintenance, CAMO functions & Air legislation.
