Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Field Service Representative to support the F/A-18 program at Naval Air Station (NAS) Lemoore, California.

This position is eligible for a Stipend payment in addition to salary for eligible candidates.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and guidance to customer on operational and troubleshooting issues for F/A-18 Avionics systems, its wiring, and specialty coverage.
  • Monitors product performance and makes recommendations for resolution of potential issues.
  • Analyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures.
  • Develops and conducts ad-hoc training.
  • Interpret technical documents and monitors Avionics/Wiring product performance,
  • Uses multi-disciplined technical expertise and company product support resources to assist the customer to achieve and sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of the F/A-18 Hornet aircraft.
  • Utilizes the Boeing Field Operations VECTOR system to record issues and get reach-back support.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at NAS Lemoore CA.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 5 years interpreting electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and definition.
  • Experience in military flight operations or military avionics technician experience.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses; or any variety of electrical components, and associated equipment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience on F/A-18 E/F, is desired.

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years of related work experience, 10 years of related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $86,700 - $117,300.
