As the Production Hangar APG, F-16 Technician you will be responsible for Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards. Will be working in the MATE build area- Installing various parts/systems/Subsystems, Landing gear build up/Install, general mech work to prep aircraft for Final assembly and check out.
The Production Hangar APG, F-16 Technician will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:
• Landing gear
• Powerplants
• Flight controls
• Rigging
• Aircraft movement.
The candidate will be required to:
• Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft.
• Frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive movements and work overhead.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.
• Properly use, handle and dispose of hazardous materials, and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures
4+ years F-16 fighter Experience Required
Manager will review candidates if they have other fighter jet experience such as F-18 or F-15 but will require at least 6+ years of recent experience.
2nd Shift - Mon- Thurs.; 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
(will train on 1st shift and move to 2nd post training)
