We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.
This position is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas.
1st Shift (6:00AM-3:30PM) – Will have mandatory OT weekend shift (rotation typically once a month every 4-6 weeks). This position will supervise employees at Plant 1.
Facilities Equipment & Maintenance
Responsible for leading a team of union covered maintenance technicians in the day-to-day operations of an industrial maintenance department.
This includes working closely with a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to ensure that all maintenance activities, including preventative and predictive maintenance, are executed efficiently.
What you’ll be doing as a Leader, Equipment Maintenance (Front Line Supervisor):
Work closely with the Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to supervise and execute all maintenance activities, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that scheduled maintenance is completed on time.
Coordinate with other departments, including production, quality, equipment, process, and industrial engineering, to ensure that maintenance activities do not interfere with production schedules.
Monitor and track maintenance activities, including work orders, parts orders, and equipment performance data, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Identify and prioritize maintenance needs, and work with management to develop and implement a budget for maintenance activities.
Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and support as needed to ensure that all team members are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
Develop and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Inspect/audit work in progress and upon completion, focusing on safety and quality of work.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and increase overall efficiency
