Job Description:

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring Field Service Technicians to support a community-based energy efficiency program in partnership with a local electric utility. This role involves traveling throughout Florida to install energy-saving products in residential homes, educate customers, and help reduce energy consumption. If you have a background in customer service, installation, or energy efficiency—and enjoy hands-on work with a purpose—this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Install energy-efficient products such as LED bulbs, low-flow aerators, showerheads, insulation jackets, pipe insulation, and foam sealant
Educate customers on ways to reduce electrical consumption and qualify them for additional free services
Accurately report installation measures and document safety issues
Drive work trucks/box vans safely to and from customer homes and lodging
Participate in neighborhood kickoff events and collaborate with field supervisors
Travel approximately 60 throughout Florida (vehicle provided)

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
Valid Driver’s License (MVR check required pre-employment and every 6 months)
Ability to pass criminal background and drug screening
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work with a partner and travel overnight during the work week
Detail-oriented, safety-minded, and deadline-driven
Background in sales, customer service, cable/satellite installation, HVAC, energy efficiency, or construction is a plus
Ability to speak Spanish is desired but not required

Pay Rate: $19/hour
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with occasional Saturdays or 4-day/10-hour shifts based on field needs

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
